While interning at mono, I had the opportunity to work on clients such as Apple, MSNBC, Harvard Business School, Tillamook Cheese, and some fun internal mono things.

I can't show most of the work I've done on the web, so if you're interested in learning more, let me know!

I had the great delight of spending a large portion of my internship at mono working on various projects for the quirky and charming brand Tillamook.

I helped develop a new illustration style for the brand, and was responsible for beginning to create a vast image base for them to pull from. I also designed patterns for use on the website, menus and signage for their Creamery Cafe, presentations, mailer promotions, and plenty of other fantastically fun things for the brand.

Anne Bailey has been writing for the tiny town of Greensboro, Alabama's local newspaper, The Watchman, for years. Over time, she has written a series of articles chronicling the stories of each of the buildings along Greensboro's ever-changing Main Street. Anne was looking for someone to design a book based on the compiled articles, and Amanda Buck, Blair Stapp, and I were thrilled to do just that!

The book is available to purchase online here, with a cheaper, black and white version coming soon. You can also buy the book at Sledge Hardware in Greensboro, AL. Please support Anne and buy this truly fascinating book that captures a period of Greensboro's history!

Branding and identity design for The Greensboro Farmers' Market, a market currently in it's very first year in Greensboro, Alabama.

I was the graphic designer for the Marketing Team, which consisted of myself, Elena Barthel (our fantastic team leader), John Marusich, Cameron Acheson, and Katie Walch. Our team met regularly with the Market Manager, members of the Alabama Farmers' Market Association, Greensboro City Council members, Extension Office employees, and local farmers and citizens of Greensboro to
discuss our progress, plans, concepts, and designs.

Over a period of a few months, we were able to work together to create an identity for our market that expanded to include posters created with the local elementary school children, refurbished signs from the City of Greensboro, a mural painted at the main intersection in town, pamphlets and postcards, among other things.

Visit the Market on it's website or like it on facebook!

Finally, a big thanks to my great friend Jenny Tondera for taking the photos of the mural and signs around town!

Working with students at Greensboro Elementary School to create posters.

A hypothetical redesign of the identity system for Minneapolis' cozy, hip tea shop and cafe, "The Tea Garden". The identity is based on a kit of interchangeable leaf/droplet forms, keeping the identity fresh and fun, but always recognizable.

Redesign includes business/punch cards, tea cups, menu, advertisements,
style guide, and logo, among other things.
