Julie Roche

is having a lot of fun being
an art director and designer.

Myself and a group of other young designers in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area volunteered to take
part in a program called Create! Don't Hate through Design Ignites Change.

My teammate Ted Guerrero and I worked together to mentor two students at Washburn High School, Alec and Sam, and teach them about tolerance as well as art and design. Over the course of many weeks, we developed concepts and designs leading to a final bilboard that expressed the idea of tolerance, and after a voting process, the billboard Ted and I helped Alec and Sam make was chosen to be one of three featured on actual bilboards around the Twin Cities! Hooray!

A big thanks to Lisa Musselman and Washburn High School for making the whole thing happen!
Thanks for stopping by!
